MAINTENANCE FREE
Blue Storm batteries are made with a specific sealed lid that prevents the loss of water.
This type of lid is designed to maintain the condensed electrolyte into the battery limiting the loss of electrolyte. The system will collect the fluids and redirect them in an efficient way to the cells to ensure no refill is needed.
AUTOMOTIVE / AGM
The AGM TECHNOLOGY or «absorbent glass mat » is made of absorbent glass microfiber separators that retain the electrolyte and limit the loss of active mass. This composition helps to avoid acid stratification, the main cause of failure for vehicles equipped with many electrical consumers (like luxury and emergency vehicles for instance).
It also ensures high resistance to cycling and vibrations, which is particularly needed for applications such as taxi and intensive use in urban areas, where restarts are numerous but the recharging process between every restart cannot be fully fulfilled.

AUTOMOTIVE / EFB
EFB technology uses a polyester special scrim in the separator to hold the active mass into the plate.
This innovative design reduces the loss of active mass and provides a higher cycling resistance than conventional batteries.
For an intensive or daily urban use, this technology increases the lifetime of the battery.

HEAVY DUTY / EFB
The system prevents acid stratification. It uses the natural movement of the vehicle to keep the acid inside the battery in constant circulation. The acid density stays at homogenous levels, which enhances charge acceptance and extends the overall battery life. It counteracts acid stratification and improves battery cycle life
The hot melt resin renders the battery even more vibration resistant, because it saves the connectors from breaking. Vibration resistance is even more enhanced, meeting EN50342-1/V3 and “end of frame installation”.
Scrim is an additional polyester element on top of PAM, which holds the active mass in place and prevents its erosion. Unlike regular pasting paper, it remains on the plate after charging and operation due to its acid resistance ability. The result is enhanced deep cycle use and superior charge acceptance.
The glued fleece helps that the plates keep their proper position at all times and in every condition.
